The Town of Vienna is proud to present a new event to the community and residents, Afternoons on Church Street.

Businesses on Church Street, along with the Town of Vienna, invite and encourage residents to attend this fun-filled event taking place on the last Sunday of May, June, July, August, September, and October 2015 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Town of Vienna will close Church Street to vehicular traffic. Church Street businesses will be open and residents can expect to enjoy entertainment, food, wine and beer tastings. Each event will have a different theme by a different local sponsor.

The Afternoons on Church Street events have been scheduled as follows:

May 31: Theme: Avenue of Art. Sponsor: The Vienna Arts Society.

June 28: Theme: Stories & Scavengers. Sponsor: The Patrick Henry Library

July 26: Theme: Party on the Porch. Sponsor: The Parks and Rec Dept.

August 30: Theme: Wheely Fun Time. Sponsor: Bikes At Vienna

September 27: Theme: Mums and Mugs. Sponsor: Chase the Submarine

October 25: Theme: Shop Local Shop Vienna. Sponsor: The Town of Vienna

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department (VVFD) will host the 3rd annual Taste of Vienna.

Saturday, April 26, 2014 | 11am – 8pm
Location: 400 Center St. South, Vienna, VA 22180
(Outdoor event – Rain or Shine)

Within the VVFD parking lot, Taste of Vienna showcases the many excellent restaurants the Vienna area has to offer. Restaurants will offer choices for all tastes from the food critic to the picky eater .

is hosting its 81st Annual House & Garden Tour in Vienna this year!

Church Street Holiday Stroll

Monday, December 2, 2013

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Join us for this annual event along Church Street. Santa will arrive and greet children at the Historic Freeman Store and Museum and then help Mayor Jane Seeman light the Holiday Tree at 6:20 pm. All merchants along Church Street will remain open for holiday shoppers. Enjoy fun family friendly activities including a petting zoo, free hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows at supervised bonfires.

Entertainment

Holiday entertainment will be provided throughout the evening.

Road Closure

Church Street will be closed to traffic during the event from Lawyers Road to Mill Street.
